Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of capridoro.com and purchases from Capri d’Oro. By placing an order you accept these Terms. Nothing in them limits the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live.
Who you are buying from
Capri d’Oro is operated as a sole proprietorship from Rome, Italy (business and VAT registration in progress — full details on the Imprint page). Contact: info@capridoro.com.
Orders
Your order is an offer to purchase; the contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation email. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If we cannot fulfil an order (e.g. a pricing error or out-of-stock item) we will notify you and refund any payment in full.
Prices & payment
Prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes; shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe (card and local payment methods). By ordering you confirm you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Delivery
We ship from Rome, Italy to the countries listed on the Shipping & Returns page, with the costs and delivery estimates shown there and at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Right of withdrawal & returns
As an EU consumer you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. On top of that, we voluntarily accept returns for 30 days — see Shipping & Returns for the full procedure.
Legal guarantee & warranty
EU law gives you a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity for goods, at no cost. In addition, we offer a voluntary 1-year warranty on the gold plating — see the Warranty page. The commercial warranty does not replace or limit your legal guarantee.
Intellectual property
All site content, photography and branding belong to Capri d’Oro or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — in particular liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or under product liability law. Where we breach, through slight negligence, an essential obligation (one whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may reasonably rely), our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded.
Dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact info@capridoro.com first — we will do our best to resolve it. EU consumers may also use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies in their country of residence.
Language versions
These Terms are published in English, Italian, Spanish and German. The translations are provided for your convenience; if the versions differ, the version in the language in which you placed your order applies, and any remaining ambiguity is interpreted in your favour as a consumer.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
